Who needs homecare?
The term "activities of daily living," or ADLs, refers to the basic tasks of everyday life, such as eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring. When people are unable to perform these activities, they need help in order to cope, either from another person or mechanical devices or both. Within the elderly population, ADL prevalence rates rise steeply with advancing age and are especially high for persons aged 85 and over (Rivlin and Wiener, 1988).

What is live-in care?
Live in care is cost effective 24-hour supervision and personal solution, where the caregiver assists the client by day and is available to sleep in the home at night for family and client comfort. A live-in caregiver does not actually reside in the home. LifeStyles Home Care, LLC caregivers have a residence of their own and are paid a daily rate.

Are there minimum care requirements?
LifeStyles Home Care, LLC asks for a 3-hour minimum care during a particular visit to ensure that our clients' daily needs are met. We use an assessment tool designed to calculate the appropriate number of hours needed for a senior's specific plan of care.

How do you select your personal caregiver?
LifeStyles Home Care, LLC caregivers are selected for their kindness and reliability. We understand that each senior has their own preferences and personalities so we allow our clients to accept or decline a caregiver. What are your hours of operation?
A LifeStyles Home Care, LLC manager is available to assist you by phone 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Our offices are open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except major holidays. We are available to set up services any time that is convenient for you.

LifeStyles Senior Housing Managers, LLC is the parent company managing LifeStyles Home Care, LLC. LifeStyles Home Care, LLC is the employer and is responsible for all the administrative, billing, payroll and taxes involved in the employee process.

How do I set up services?
Once a request for care has been made, a manager will conduct a consultation and assessment with you. A flexible, personalized and suitable care plan is developed and an appropriate caregiver is assigned.
