Annie and Bonnie
Are way up there too
They do all they can
To please me and you
There’s now early breakfast
Though some still come late
I surely like it

They brought it about
Mikayla and Nancy
Our servers of course

An Open Letter to the Staff and Residents of Cascade Valley Senior Living:
“The family of Edward and MaryAnn Borer would like to express our deep appreciation to each of you for making Ed and MaryAnn’s time with you at Cascade as meaningful and pleasant as was possible.

Each of you, in your own way, contributed to their wellbeing and that of their family. Perhaps you took the time to visit or joke with Ed. Maybe you made the effort to engage him in an activity or make him feel welcome here. Perhaps you worked harder to find ways to make his day more pleasant. Some of you have certainly gone well beyond what was required of you to care for not only Ed and MaryAnn, but their entire family. For all of those acts of kindness, generosity, and selflessness, we wish to thank you. Please never doubt that what you do every day to create a warm and welcoming community makes a difference in someone’s life.

We are so glad to have had the opportunity to get to know many of you. One of the greatest blessings we have had over the last few years has been to discover that we seem to meet the best people when we are in the worst circumstances.

Again thank you all for your love, support and care of our family. May you each be richly blessed in your lives for all you have given of yourselves.”
