I have been supporting families work though this change for many years.  It is one of the many gifts that come with my job.  I have the opportunity to meet wonderful people, get to know them on a personal basis and help them through a tough time in their life.  The best reward I get to experience is when that new resident turns to me and says, “I wish I would have done this sooner!”
